Scania AXL – a Robotic Concept Truck Aimed at EI

The world is doubtlessly moving toward the future, where all vehicles will be entirely autonomous. To prove this statement, the well-known Scania company has developed the concept of an AXL robotic truck. This truck even has no driver's cab and is designed to be used in the mining industry.

Please, let us note that the Scania company has already constructed robotic trucks earlier, but all of them have a driver's cab, where there is always a man, ready to take control over the vehicle in cases of emergency. However, the new external logistical system managing AXL trucks is secure to the extent that there is no need to have a man for the sake of safety and, thus, a driver's cab.
